Oh wow. I was wondering why I had not heard much about this movie until I saw it recently. Now I know. This movie is a boring slog, and the generic title should indicate the lack of thought put into it. A family is cursed by a witch as she is executed hundreds of years ago, which is cool and everything — there are two members left in modern-day and the walls seem to be closing in fast on them. But several people who aren’t members of the cursed family are killed off by the spirit of the dead witch, for no real reason.
If you told me a studio needed to spend some money for tax purposes and they just improvised an entire movie, I would totally believe that. Tricia Walsh as ditzy Viv is the only one with any life in her character, and she is more comic relief than anything else.
