I will give the makers of this movie credit: given a low budget, a house in the woods, a fake looking Yeti costume and some Halloween-store makeup to work with, this is a passable plot. A college professor gathers a group of students to investigate the location of multiple Yeti sightings over the span of several years. As they start to realize something else might be going on, they turn up dead one by one. But who is the killer?
Has the feel of The Body Beneath a little bit, minus some of the weird camera effects. If the writers had tweaked a couple of things here and there, this would have been really solid. As is, it is worth checking out if you like early 1970’s low-budget American horror.
