Lurid, unpleasant revenge drama with high-schooler Brenda (Linda Blair) hunting four violent idiots. A lot of female nudity. Apparently, the police don’t patrol much where this movie takes place, as they only show up at the end when everything is wrapped up. A young Linnea Quigley plays Brenda’s deaf-mute sister and is very good in the role.
Every character is just a little too flatly written, but the acting is too intense most of the time, as if the director was trying to make up for it…but the director co-wrote the script, so nope! There seems to be noise gate issue with some of the music, not sure if that was in the original film or a conversion issue.
