Just another “wife possessed by evil spirit of woman who used to live in the same house” paint-by-numbers exercise. Even the great John Saxon as the husband doesn’t add much to the movie. It has a very boring subplot about a construction project on a Hawaiian island and some problem with the building loans that doesn’t go anywhere.
Was rated “R” upon release, but it would only be PG-13 today, I’m guessing. Pretty tame and forgettable.
