The story of Lilith (Isa Jank) returning to wreck havoc in modern times. This particular scheme involves seducing the employees of a fashion magazine to get her image on the front cover, somehow spreading her demonic influence to all who wind up reading it.
Trying to stop her are Craig (Linden Ashby), Kirstie (Debra Feuer), and Sadie (Helen Martin), although Sadie winds up doing most of the work. Craig and Kirstie, although set up to be the leads, are pretty flat as characters. Helen Martin milks what she can out of her character, however, and I wish she was in the movie more.
As an R-rated movie, this could could have gone harder and more intense, but it winds up being a let-down (likely due to a lower budget). One aspect that could have been played up more is the magazine’s workplace spiraling into debauchery — employees are shown having implied sex and just general lunacy. Similarly, the basement of local bar Swingles gets a Caligula-style treatment thanks to Lilith, but just a little more time there would have reinforced the scope of what the protagonists are up against.
